  1. President Biden’s Executive Action canceling up to $10,000 or $20,000 in federal student loans.
  2. President Biden further extends the federal student loan repayment pause. There is no interest accruing on federal student loans and no payments until 60 days after the Supreme Court rules on the one-time student debt relief litigation. If the litigation is not resolved in this Supreme Court Term, interest and payments will resume 60 days after June 30, 2023.

Current Operating Hours

The Student Financial Aid Office is available in person and by phone Monday-Thursday from 8:30a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  For appointments outside these times, please email FinancialAid@kumc.edu.

Please note the following exceptions:

  • Monday, December 26 through Monday, January 2 - closed for the holidays
  • Monday, January 16 - closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
